When I grow up I want to be like Mom

When I grow up I want to be like Mom

A child's drawing can reveal an infinity of things, situations, feelings and illusions, although they are not always real. Some drawings like the one I am teaching you to follow, made by a girl in Maryland, USA, can cause really confusing and unusual situations for parents, and cause more than one laugh in others.

The drawing is titled "When I grow up I want to be like Mom." The girl's teacher is supposed to have commissioned her with a drawing that expresses what she wants to be when she grows up. At home, the girl's mother will have commented on a situation, and the girl draws the situation experienced by her mother, and takes the drawing to the teacher. It is not known what the teacher's interpretation of the drawing was, but when the girl showed it to her mother, her reaction was immediate. Follow the drawing:

And this is the message that the teacher received from the girl's mother, the next day: Dear teacher, I want to clarify that I am not, nor have I ever been, an exotic dancer. I work in a store and I told my daughter how agitated we were the last week after the heavy snow we had. I told him that all the shovels in the store were sold, and it seemed like one more in the back room, and that several people were fighting over who got this last shovel. The drawing in which it seems that I am dancing on the bar, I am actually selling the last shovel. From now on I will review my daughter's homework before she takes it to school. Sincerely, Mrs. (Mother).
